Cascade Locks

Hello from Cascade Locks!

Tomorrow morning, Indie and I will hike across the Bridge of the Gods into Washington. Just under 500 miles to go. It is now a race against winter. Last night, we spent the evening with Hiker X, Stumbling Norwegian and Spillz, Medic and Flyboy, Red Cache, Shake and Bake, Special 41, Hojo, Wide Angle and Fully Loaded. A huge group of thru-hikers trying to prove the nay sayers wrong. Did we start too late to beat the snow? Only time will tell. Indie and I joke that we are the "snow line." As long as a hiker can stay in front of us, they will make it. Unfortunately, we are the slowest hikers out there right now, still averaging about 25 miles a day. Nonetheless, we will try our best to reach Manning Park by the first week in October. Until then, thanks for stopping by. Michael, thanks again for posting pictures. Also, Pete, thanks for all your help with the resupply!!
